Ella the elephant loved listening to stories more than anything. Every week, animals from all over the jungle gathered under the big storytelling tree for tales of magic, mystery, and adventure.
But this week, something was wrong.
Chapter 1: No One to Read
Mr. Toucan, the usual storyteller, had lost his voice!
“Who will read to us?” the animals cried.
Ella loved books, but she was shy. Her tummy flopped at the thought of reading aloud in front of everyone.
Her best friend Milo the monkey whispered, “You’d be amazing. Just read like it’s just us.”
Chapter 2: The Practice Patch
That afternoon, Ella practiced in the tall grass:
- She read to butterflies
- She tried silly voices for the characters
- She even recited a tongue twister to a sleepy sloth
Each time, her voice grew a little stronger.
Chapter 3: The Big Moment
The next day, Ella took a deep breath and stepped up to the storytelling tree.
She opened a book titled The Adventure of the Golden Acorn. Her voice wobbled at first, but the animals listened closely.
Soon, Ella forgot her fear and got lost in the story.
Chapter 4: Applause in the Trees
When she finished, the animals burst into cheers!
“That was the best story ever!” cried Leo the leopard.
“Will you read again next week?” asked a baby parrot.
Ella blushed. “Yes… I think I will.”
Conclusion
From that day on, Ella became the jungle’s favorite storyteller.
Because sometimes, bravery is just doing what you love—even when it feels a little scary at first.
